Default 96 accord AT problems

Having problems with my 96 accord. Transmission problems I believe. When I put it into reverse or drive, tranny starts making noises like the components in the tranny are rotating either though i have my foot on the brake pedals. I'd have to shut of the engine to stop the tranny internals from rotating. The car does not drive at all in any of the positions I put it in. Could it be the solenoids? torque converter or am I better off replacing the tranny? Need all the help i can get. THANKS

Default RE: 96 accord AT problems

first off ,, what is the condition of the tranny fluid ?? is there planty of fluid ?? if fluid looks dark brown/black. replace fluid use honda atf-z1 ..also remove both solenoids lock up and shift located on top of tranny toward frt of car to the left of ft motor mount.. make sure metal screen is not plugged, blow compressed air into the passages.. put all together and retry..
