I am new, so hope i am posting in the correct place. I am currently rebuilding my first honda transmission and when reassembleing the 1st-hold clutch i did not have to compress the assembly to put the snap ring on the spring holder. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is normal since there is no pressure holding the spring against the spring holder? Or have i done something to damage the spring or another component. By the way its a 97 accord with a 4speed automatic. I am pretty sure its a b series tranny. Thanks for any help!
