I have a 1997 Honda Accord that has had the check engine light on for 2 years. The car runs fine, never stalls, idols fine, etc.
While driving at a constant speed, the check engine light will start to blink until you let go of the gas. Then once it stops blinking, you can accelerate again.
I need to go through emissions so that I can renew my registration.
Any ideas or suggestions?

 

yes bring it to an Autozone and have them pull the codes for you.
The connector is behind the ashtray.

Also i think driving the car for 2 years with the check engine light on isn't the smartest thing you could do.

 

Crispin has it right, any advanced auto, autozone, or the sort will tell you what the check engine light is for for free. We really can't help you until we know what it is for. Usually when it flashes its for a more serious code though.
