Good day all, and happy new year.

I have a 97 Accord, 2.2 liter with 180K miles on it.

Keep up on maintenance pretty well, but have never since owning the car at 125k miles had the valves adjusted.

Was wondering how important it is to get this done, or if the engine is running fine, don't worry about it.

If valves run quietly after 5 mins of warmup, there is not much to be gained by adjusting the valves. A loose valve will continue to make noise after warmup.
