Default 97 Honda Accord LX 2.2 4 cylinder VTEC

I have no spark in my plugs, but everything checks out all the way up to the distributor. Had put new plugs, wires, cap, distributor rotor, Ignition coil, everything still no spark. Started with a bad downstream O2 sensor that I replaced, now it won’t fire. Last time I drove it, it backfired a couple times and shut off, hasn’t started since. Timing belt is ok as the distributor rotor turn while cranking. Have no idea what it could be please help me!!

Just tested to see if I had any shorts in the wiring, there are none.

Are you getting a check-engine light? If so, have a car-parts-store read the error codes.

I’ve checked every ground I know of. Is there one I’m missing somewhere?

The main engine computer ground is on the driver's side of the upper intake manifold.

Can you tell us what tests you have done so far on the wiring?

Definitely check the "G101" ground as mentioned previously.

You've replaced a lot of parts, so there is always a risk that a new part was bad out of the box.

Here is a link on testing honda ignition system using a test light. The LX setup is a bit different, because the coil is outside of the distributor. You would have to back-probe the green wire to the coil connector to test for the igniter switching to ground.
