Default 97 Honda Accord Wagon Hit a Truck Tire

I ran over a truck retread and broke up the plastic wheel well protection I stuck it back up so that it was no longer rubbing but I noticed a small roughly 3/4 inch tube hanging under the car about 3 feet behind the wheel well. It has a white plastic fitting on the end and it appears and feels dry. I don't know if it was already there or a result of the tire incident. Its in between the wheel catalytic converter and the outside of the car. Can someone tell me what this is? The car seems to be operating normally. I drove it about 15 miles after I got the plastic wheel well covering to stay up.

It is probably more like a 1/2 inch rubber tube and is only hanging down about 2-3 inches

Do you have a sun roof? I suspect it is either a drain for a sun roof or the A/C evaporator which is located behind the glove box area. It all depends as it is hard to tell which based on your post. If you live in an area with humidity and can run the A/C for a while and water drips out then you know what you are looking at assuming the drain is not plugged. Good luck.

Default Thanks!

I believe it is a drain or breather tube for the Evap system its cleanish and everything I saw for the AC was black. Plus I tried running the AC and the tube was still bone dry
