98 Accord Coupe LX 3.0L Instrument Lights Inop
I am having the following issue with my Accord.
Lights in on position:
Headlights come on
Clock light goes off
Odometer light goes off
No instrument panel backlight
Trans position indicator in cluster goes out
No climate control illumination
Vent position indicator light dims
Lights in off position:
Headlights turn off
Clock light illuminates
Odometer light illuminates
Trans position indicator light in cluster illuminates
Vent position indicator light brightens
No cluster backlight
No climate control illumination
I have check all fuses and they are good. Backup lights illuminate. Does anyone have any ideas or know where I can find a wiring diagram to try to narrow this down? It makes it very difficult to drive at night without dash lights. Thanks for your help.

The spooner link I posted in the online manuals thread in the DIY section has a 98-02 shop manual that covers accords from non-US regions. The wiring should be similar to the US accord. It is an .iso file, so you have to burn it to a CD for it to work.
I would test the wiring at the dimming switch. There may be a test to jump some wires on the dimming switch as well to bypass it.
