Default 98 accord no spark

my stepdaughters 98 accord (2.3 vtech) would not start.I checked it & found no spark present.I checked power at the coil & icm as listed on alldata, had power.Looks like a dist problem but not 100%.I work in a Chevrolet dealership & have very limited info on hondas.Any other tests or info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Check all connections on wire harness. One time I had that issue and it turned out the crank positioning sensor wasnt connected all the way.

In 1998 the timing sensors are connected in a couple of places. Dirty/loose/corroded connections can get ya.

- Wiring harness connection at the distributor

- Wiring connection at the CKP/TDC sensors. That connector is at the lower backside of the lower timing cover. Probably easiest to see it from underneath the car, left-front wheel area, on the edge of the engine's plastic timing cover.
