Default 98 Accord V6 ECU Swapout

Relatively sure my accord has a bad ECU. Picked one up from a local junk yard and I'm getting ready to install it. There are going to be issues with the new ECU not recognizing my key transponders. Is there a brake code to bypass the imobilizer so I can get it to the dealership to recode the soon to be installed ECU? If there is a brake code is it VIN specific?

Thanks
Scott

Some did/do have a brake code but I think that was for the OE PCM.....not the VIN

Yes if the ecu/pcm is replaced the "key", PCM have to "meet" .

The brake key code is VIN specific, when looking up for the code on Honda's system.

Thanks for the replies. My first thought is to have a mobile locksmith come to the house and program my keys into the new ECU. If this doesn't work, then I'll go to my local dealership and have them lookup the brake code for the car and cut a non transponder blank key.
