I replaced the neutral safety switch but when I turn the key on the green box around the D4 lights up as well as the red box around neutral can anyone help me

 

Why did you replace the neutral safety switch?

Can you still drive the vehicle? If yes, stop by a parts store and have them scan for codes. Post the codes on here.

Was the D4 and N light behaving the same way before you replaced this switch?

 

I had intermittent problems with the switch where the car would turn over but only start in neutral but now the car does absolutely nothing and I don't think the light used to come on before

 

You'll have to figure out why the new switch is causing this new issue.

Do you have a shop manual for your car to do the work? Are you good at testing electrical systems on the car?

What happens with the cluster lights for Park, neutral, etc when you move the gear selector to different positions?

 

It was the starter solonoid
