OK gentlemen. I have a 98 Honda accord ex v6. I get a code p1457. Evap canister leak. I pulled the can and removed the part with 3 or 4 vacuum lines and a 2 wire connector. I bench tested the unit and found the solenoid would not move. I have the Densco part number from the side of the unit. I would like to know what the part is called and where I can buy it from. The Honda dealer in my area, "I try no to deal with unless I need to". Help anyone? Thanks for your time.

 

Pretty sure you can only get it from honda or someplace that sells dealer parts. Maybe try a junkyard.

follow the directions, there are bulletins on code p1457,

 

i would go to honda. on our 99 that happened (before the car was 100% mine i know from looking at the service records). i think that the dealer is the answer for a component like that.
