You can check/test at the connector for the driver’s door control unit.
1. Remove the driver’s door multiplex control unit and disconnect the 20P connector. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to make sure they are making good contact. Look for bent, loose, or corroded terminals.
2. Leave the door multiplex control unit still unplugged. You will do some test on the light blue 20P harness connector.
3. If the window is up, connect a jumper wire from terminal A11 (Red/Blu wire) to A12 (Blk wire). Connect a jumper wire from terminal A10 (Red/Yellow wire) to A1 (White/Yel wire). The window should go down ignition to ON.
If the window is down, connect a jumper wire from terminal A10 (Red/Yellow wire) to A12 (Blk wire). Connect a jumper wire from terminal A11 (Red/Blu wire) to A1 (White/Yel wire). The window should go up.
If the above procedure doesn’t do anything, you can test the driver’s window motor directly.
1. Remove door panel.
2. Disconnect the 4P connector from the window motor.
3. Test the motor by applying 12 volt battery power and ground to motor side. To lower the glass: apply power (+) to terminal 2 (yellow wire) and ground (-) to terminal 1 (red wire). To raise the glass: apply power (+) to terminal 1 (red wire) and ground (-) to terminal 2 (yellow wire).
