Hi, new to the forums but i have a question about my 98 honda accord ex v6 umm today the battery light and all the door ajar lights and brake lamp light came on....


I checked voltage and at the terminals im getting 12.40 volts and when the headlights are on 12.22 volts i dont think my alternator is going bad but why else would my battery light and ajar/breaklamp light would come on?

 

your battery should be at closer to 14 volts while the engine running.
