Hey guys,

so recently my accord has been acting up. it seems that the 1st gear on my car lags or cannot reach into 2nd gear. Sometimes, it reaches 2nd and sometimes it doesn't causing the rpm to go up with no speed. I have replaced the tranny before and will be doing a tranny fluid change. I have replaced my tranny before so I am wondering, does anybody else have a clue on whats wrong.

 

Does the check engine light comes on ? Make sure the fluid is full. Sounds like 2nd clutch is going, if the fluid smell burn then it's time for another one.

 

Yes, the engine light is on. I will try to do a transmission flush i hope its not the transmission itself. After a few test drives, it seems that once the car gets warm enough the lagging stops./
