I have a 1998 honda accord with a V6. When I go to the gas station and leave my engine running and put gas in my car, sometimes the idle will slow down real low and it will snort and stammer like it's going to stall. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it? It only does it for a little while as I'm putting gas in the tank.

 

It sounds like your Evap system has a leak. That said, you should never leave your engine running while you refuel.
