'98 V6 Accord side engine mount
Hi guys,
While in the middle of doing a timing belt change on a V6, I am trying to remove the stubborn long bolt that goes through the side engine mount bracket on two sides, with the rubber cylindrical shaped, frame mounted "damper" in the middle. Has anybody else had trouble removing this bolt? I finally got the big bolt off the pulley, now this one is starting to annoy me. It doesn't seem like it should be giving me any trouble at all, but I really have to torque on it to move it at all. I really don't want to break it, any tips on removing it? I've been spraying it with Kroil and have turned it in and out a couple of times, so far unable to remove it.
Thanks,
Dan

Yes, I've got a jack beneath the oil pan as advised, though the height of the engine as adjusted by the jack doesn't seem to have any relative bearing on the tightness of the bolt. In fact, the bolt is just as tight even if you remove the 2 shorter bolts that hold this mount to the engine side, as this longer bolt is on the frame side of the mount.
Thanks,
Dan
