Ok - I just have to vent and see if anybody else has experienced my problems. So I buy my second accord, a 99, and it's just peachy. One previous owner - known by the family - good people, etc. Since I've had the car, I have had to replace the trans, both front and rear breaks and rotors each year, the fan belt, the driver's seat base (electrical went out), the alt (and battery twice), and the windshield wiper pump. Now the check engine light came on, and the scan says that there's a misfire in cylinder #4.

Is this commonplace in 99's?? I have never heard of an Accord having this many problems.

 

not common, but **** happens what can you do? everything break down sooner or later...
