99 accord ex 5 speed-won't start
Hello,
I was driving one day and the car started jerking. The RPM jumped from 1 to 3 as the car jerked. The next day, I drove it around the block and it jerked and cut off. Since then it hasn't started. It cranks but won't turn over. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? I want to have an idea before the mechanic tells me its something else and charges me for the extra work. Thanks!!

Lots of ideas but in my personal opinion....testing is needed. I know that is not the answer you were looking for. If you don't trust the shop you are taking it to, find another.
If you want, when they call and say you need "X, Y and Z". Let us know and we can try to help with what they say?
