My PS pump has been leaking so I ordered new o-rings and seals for it. I took it apart and put it back together. I put aftermarket ps fluid in (didn't have honda stuff available and dealer was closed). I drove car around turning lock to lock and checked fluid level and had to add more. So it appears it's circulating through the system. It doesn't feel like its working though. I took it apart and re-assembled it again. It's still doing the same thing. It worked before I took it apart. I think I'm not assembling something properly or maybe I have something in the lines somewhere. I was going to take the return off to the reservoir and see if I have a good return flow. Has anyone dissambled a pump before and does anyone have a correct assembly picture I can look at. I looked on a couple honda parts sites with an exploded view of the pump. It looks like I'm putting it back together correct but maybe something's a little off. 99 accord 4cyl

Try again with real Honda fluid. At least get stuff that says "FOR HONDA".
