'99 honda accord ex

Default '99 honda accord ex

Here recently my car has been "skipping"-"jumping" while driving.could it be fuel issue or electronic??thanks

There is a long list of things it could be. Going to need a little more to go on.

4 or 6 cyl, auto or manual.

The skipping/jumping, is this in the motor or trans. Under what situations does it do this. Has any recent work been done to the car. Are the regular tune up items up to date.

4cyl,auto.mainly does it going up hill.did a tune up lastyear.(plugs,wires,dis.cap).what is the CEL??

Check Engine Light.

So under heavy load (up hill climb) the engine is skipping..

At what speed ? Would it do the same thing if you're in D3 ? How is your tach when this happen ?

will try d3.but the tach does move up and down will car "jumps'.

rpm range is 2-3thou.no i havent change the fuel filter.

found out that the rotor button was bad makeing the cylinders misfire.did a complete tuneup plugs,wires,ignition coil,cap and rotor button.thank you guys for the help!
