'99 won't start occationally
This is similar but different from starting problems I've had with an older accord (on hot days, etc.)...
My '99 accord will occationally decide not to start. It cranks over just fine. But if I jump start it, it starts right away. Go figure?
More detail:
The first time this happened, the battery eventually wore down. I didn't expect it to start when we jumped it, but it did.
The second time it happened to my wife, she immediately had my son jump start it - it started fine.
Now the third time we made sure the battery did not wear down before jumping it. It started fine... Why?

RE: '99 won't start occationally
Time will only tell, but it does appear to be the battery. I'm guessing that the voltage regulator for the computer (or some other essential starting component) needs more input voltage than the starter requires to turn the motor over... I'm not too interested in studying it any more. If a new battery fixes it, I'm going to run with it and move on to other challenges. Thanks 'lightshow' for the nudge to go ahead and do the obvious.
