Post About to buy a Honda?

Hey, I am 17, and my parents have given me money to buy a used honda accord most likely a 2000-01, sedan, and I am not sure what exactly to check for before buying the car? Can you please let me know. Thanks.

You don't need to check anything for a Honda. Just get it!...and yes I am aware I provided no helpful info =]

^ Lol.

Look for a manual, the automatics from 98-02 are junk, especially the V6 ones. Just make sure there are no odd noises and see if the previous owner has maintenance records.

One thing you should definitely find out when the timing belt was last changed, its about a $400-700 job to have done and has a service interval of usually 90k miles.
