Default ABS light and ?

I just got this pos and Srs light was on. Had misfire so cel light was on. But I am pretty sure the abs light was not on. Fixed wasted wheel bearing. Put on a set of 195/65 tires. Rear tires are 205/65. Drove around block to check bearing work and abs light is on. Was it always on? So the abs will engage on slow right hand turns. But not on left tuns. WHY does abs come ON if abs light is on? Thought that meant abs is not supposed to work?

My cheap code reader won't list abs or Srs codes. Only simple mil codes. Like p0300 and p1399. Fixed that. Had p1457? Egr code. Have not cleaned egr port yet. Too much other crap. It's an 01 ex v6. I did the Srs reset but it won't give me 2 final blinks. Just 1. So, Srs mod is probably bad

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK - There are ways to jump the DLC to get the "old style" codes, where the lights (MIL, SRS, ABS) will "flash/blink" the codes.

Re-check the work on the bearing that was replaced, that could/might be related to the abs code.

The sedan and coupe had different sized rims/tires. Is your car a sedan or coupe? The new tires are 195/65/R??. The R part gives the rim size.

I finally got the proper 205/65/15 tires to replace the worn out tires that were on car. Now all 4 match in size and same wear.yes all 4 wheels are matching alloys too. I looked at obd2 connector under dash. There are 2 black wires with gray dashes? There is 1 brown wire next to 1 black wire. The 2nd black wire is in opposite row.

Here is how Honda numbers the pins. Row one will be 1 through 8. Row two will 9 through 16 (9 will be under 1).

Pin 4 is blk. Pin 5 is brn/blk. Pin 7 is grey. Pin 9 is brown. Pin 16 is wht/grn. Not sure on pin 14, or if it has a wire.

Please verify these pin numbers with the wire colors on your obd2 connector.

Pin 9 is the lower right side of your picture. Pin 4 is the black wire in the top row closest to pin 9.

Short those two pins together. Turn the key on, then count the CEL, ABS, D4, SRS flashes. Each light will give a code for that unit. Also a long blink is the first digit of the code, short blink is the second digit. So LLLSS = a code 42.

Post which light gives you codes.

I watched the abs light and I think it blinked for 3 minutes. I did the obd1 code dance yrs ago but if I recall, you get a 1-2 and than codes blinks so maybe takes 15-20 sec for all lights? I counted dozens of blinks. I gave up and shut off ign and redid it and it basically repeated. LOTS of blinks. I think abs module is whacked.
