Default AC compressor not starting

I recently replaced the AC compressor in my 03 EX V6. It worked great for a while, but now the compressor will not start when I turn the AC on. I know the clutch/compressor work becuase I hooked up a jumper wire from the battery, and the compressor engaged and the air got cool.

I checked the AC relay and it seems to be fine. The refrigerant pressure is right where it should be. What could be causing the compressor not to switch on?

I just made a new thread in the DIY section called HVAC error codes. Check for any HVAC error code(s) and post them on here.

Is there a way to retrieve the HVAC codes without a scan tool?

How did you test the relay ?? under hood fuse box chk fuse # 12 7.5 amps, under dash box chk # 30 , 7.5 amps ( key on, )

if fuses are ok,, pull the relay out, you should have power on 2 cavities, ground at 1 and nothing in 1 ..
if you have power and ground ,,,, jump a wire from 1 of the power cavities to the cavity that has nothing ,,,,,,,,,if compr turns on,, you got a bad relay

let us know..

Yeah, there is. Go to the DIY section & look for PA's post entitled "HVAC error codes". Do what it says.
