RE: A/C compressor clutch not engaging
Sorry for being in a hurry. Its a 2003 Accord LX 2.4 litre automatic. I have checked the technical service bulletins and followed their directions. I have power to all points but the compressor clutch still isn't engaging. You can turn theclutch by hand.

Sorry but we are going to need a ton more than that.....and the same thing Desert said to the first poster applies....I read oldest to newest so please don't tell me I see this same from you again.....If not, you can start a new thread with the things you have done, tested (details) and that.

You want us to help you but 11 words is all you can type to describe your problem?
Start a new thread, explain your situation, car, what you have tested, ect.
or take it to a dealer and tell them that you "have 14v at the blue wire but clutch is not engaging" and let them charge you to repair it.

good cop time ...i had a similar issue. if the system was cooling fine and then just quit working and the clutch is not engaging, the clutch coil is burned out...short of a catastrophic refrigerant loss of course.
i replaced the clutch and coil together, these compressor are very reliable aside from this issue. original setup lasted 160k miles. still cooling to 40 degrees at the vent.
