Default Acceleration Issue After CAI Installation (Transmission?)

Ok so I just installed a BOMZ CAI in my Accord. It's an automatic transmission. Now prior to this installation, I have had no known transmission issues. Now after my CAI installation, if I try to floor the throttle, I get stuck in whatever gear I'm in. It shoots up to 5k, 6kRPM and will not shift unless I ease off the throttle. Any ideas guys?

put the stock one back in and operate under the same conditions, see if it does it. Kinda sounds like a transmisison problem, can be fairly common on the v6 and 4cyl in those years, given that car doesnt have a mass air flow sensor like the 03-07's the intake is probally not your problem.

Are you sure about the MAF? Here's a photo:

yes your car runs an MAP sensor, the 03's have a MAF sensor. If you had a MAF you would probally have to cut a hole and install the sensor into the tube of the intake, on your car look at the thottle body, you will see a sensor just opposite from your throttle and cables which is your TPS, on top is the MAP sensor.
