Thumbs down Acceleration or transmission issues

HI I bought my accord LX 2012 Auto around 5 months back and it seems to be giving me quite a bit of problems already with only 2850 miles on it. Here is the problem. Starting couple of weeks back I have observed that the acceleration is not as good as before. This has been going on for two weeks until I went somewhere today and it seemed better. Now, on the way back the same problem persisted.

Earlier I have also observed that when I go from around 40/50 mph to 5 mph and then start accelerating , there is a delayed response to the acceleration. Further while starting from standstill the engine makes quite a bit of noise and is not smooth indicating as if the car is struggling to shift gears. Does anyone else face the same problems?

found this in the honda service news:

Got a vehicle that loses power while driving, but drives OK when checked and has no set DTCs? It might just be the normal workings of the brake override system.
That system is designed to cut engine power if it senses that the accelerator pedal might be stuck (the pedal is open and then the brake pedal is pushed). If you rest your left foot on the brake pedal while driving, the system will think you’re trying to slow down the vehicle and will cut engine power.
Before doing any troubleshooting, have the service advisor ask your customer about his or her driving habits. He or she just might be experiencing the brake override system in action.

may or may not have anything to do with your issue...

Thanks for the reply but I do not rest my left foot on the brake pedal. My left foot is always on the spot where the clutch would be if it was a standard. While trying to overtake it doesn't pull off the stops like it used to before. Earlier it was a breeze but now i dont feel confident while passing

still could be that control system issue, while it's still under warranty take it in and even if they don't do anything it will be documented, build a file on the issue if you have to.
