Question 94 accord idle/acceleration issues

ok so me and my little brother where messing around on this abandoned stretch of road, we did 2 quarter mile runs in my 94 Honda accord, cd7 with f22b1 vtec.
never red lined it or anything like that as we went to stop after the second run the rpms stayed about 3000rpm and when i gave it a little gas it dropped below idle and was between 500-1k at idle bouncing around not fast tho. then we went to come home on the highway and in any gear the car starts to like rock/bounce/hesitate when NOT pushing the gas at about 2200rpms, not real hard but enough for you to notice the issue then when you put it in neutral the rpms climb back up to 3k rpm for about 10-15 second and then drop back down. any ideas? there's no weird engine noise, no CEL.

update: when u start off in first and floor it theres no get up and go, it goes just not as fast as it use to. same with all the gears

How old are the maintenance items like spark plugs, distributor cap, and distributor rotor?

When the engine is cold, remove the radiator cap and make sure the radiator is filled with coolant.

Sounds like it could be a vacuum leak somewhere, check all your hoses, or perhaps a bad injector.
It sounds like it's getting the wrong fuel mixtures, could be either, but i'd bet on an injector.

also is it manual or auto transmission.

update: the car when in neutral stays about 2500 to 3000 rpms unless at a full complete stop, and when your driving and the rpms come around 2500-3000 rpms it wants to stay in that range..my uncle used some smoke machine to fill the motor with smoke to check for leaks, and there wasn't any leak. its 5 speed

update: i unpluged the TPS and car runs fine, i am guess that was the problem..will replace and update

well, try going to a junkyard and grabbing a new tps or buy a new one, if that doesn't solve it permanently keep checking.
