i have a 06 accord ,3.0,stickshift,6 speed.i have a problem my check engine light goes on and off.the mechanick said its the 02 sensor bad or the connections.can somebody help me,i dont want to by the sensor till i know exactlly what it is

 

take it to an auto parts store when the light is on and ask them to read your code. They will do it for free. Then come back to us with the numeric code, it starts with a P and looks like this P420.

This will help us dial it down.

PS how many miles on your accord?

 

code is Po154 02,car has 130000 miles

 

That would be for Bank 2, Sensor 1 O2 heater system issue.

There are some tests you can do, check that the connector is seated all the way, test for continuity on a few wires, measure the voltage on a few others. Do you have a volt meter for this.
