Default Accord 2.0 sport yr 2000

Hi just wondered if any one could help.
Engine light has just come on and when vehicle gets warm the revs drop to almost stalling point when slowing or stationary. Doesn't actually stall but won't idle smoothly. Other than that drives perfect. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Try this:
https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...e-speed-38734/

Also, let us know where you are. 2.0-liter for year 2000 is not a USA car, and many of us don't automatically think about differences for different countries. In fact, I don't know for certain whether the base idle procedure is the same.

Yea, O2 sensors can go bad/get lazy and cause all kinds of issue. Let us know how it works out.

Hi although lambda sensor has been changed and no faults shown on test equipment. The engine light still comes on. Ecu has been reset and car start runs and drives as it should, but engine light still on. Pain as I would like to sell the vehicle as a would prefer a diesel. Any ideas welcome. Thanks guys.

If the check engine light is on, then a code should be stored. Find out what engine code is stored. I'm not sure if the UK accord has the OBD2 connector like Accords in the US have.
