I just finished rebuilding the top end. When i put it all together i tried to start it and no spark it cranks over and all that jazz just doesnt start.. I tested everything in the distributor but no spark. Grounds are good as well. At a loss for why it isnt starting any help is appreciated.

Check whether you are getting 12V to the distributor connector (blk/yel wire) w/ keyswitch turned to On.
If no voltage, an ignition switch assy fault is likely.
If you have 12V, fault can be ignitor, coil, or perhaps a cracked rotor or distributor cap allowing spark to short to ground.
Check the distributor ground wire connection to the thermostat. It is removed during a head gasket replacement.
good luck

Actually the main ground on the 5th gen 4 cyl's is on the drivers end of the TB/plenum.
G101 should be double checked to be sure it is clean and tight.
Also for giggles, what are the colors of the three wires you have connected to the MAP sensor?
