For all those with automatic shift cable problems. My 1992 Accord was very tight shifting in and out of park. I disconnected cable at transmission and shifter. Problem was in the cable. Figured I had nothing to lose by lubing the cable. Parked on incline with nose down and removed rubber boot protecting cable near shifter. With a squirt can of motor oil I worked shifter back and forth while squirting oil into cable until oil dripped under transmission. Has been working like new now for months.
