Accord stops running after 5 seconds
Hello all, I have a 96 honda accord 2.2l non v-tech that stopped running this past weekend. The car will start if I give it some gas but will only stay running for a few seconds. I have checked the fuel pump and am getting gas. I have checked the TCM , coil ,ICM, injectors and main relay. I am not sure where to look next. This is my commuter car and has 242,000 miles on it. I am stuck driving my truck to work and the gas is killing me. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Also, when you say it will run when you give it gas, do you mean that you are hitting the gas pedal when trying to start?
Do you have a timing light?

The coil, icm and main relay were checked out by a local parts house. I did an ohms test on the tcm and it checked out ok per the specs that the parts house gave me. The injectors are clicking wich leads me to believe that they are working properly. I could be wrong. If I turn the key over it will just crank until the gas pedal is pressed then it will start some of the time but just for a few seconds. I do have a timing light. This is my first car newer than 87 so I am lost with all of the sensors and such. Thanks for your help.

Did you pull these parts and take them to the parts place to be tested as it "sounds" like the car can't be driven.
Anyway, once the car shuts off, leave the key in the on/pos II. Test for voltage on the BLK/YEL wire going into the dist.
Do you have a timing light? If so and you have have 12v to the dist on the BLK/YEL wire, see if the timing light lights up when you try to start.
