so its spring...

its been about 2000 miles and its almost time for an oil change, i am thinking of adding a quart of lucas 1000 miles before i change the oil to quiet the engine a bit, theres no rod knocks or anything like that, but there is a bit of clatter from the rockers under the valve cover. it worked in the vdub so im expecting good results.

but i recently changed the fluid in the trans w/ oe honda mtf, wondering if thats all i need as i remember i needed special additives and such in other cars i have owned.

i have always gone with the best that i know of which is.
castrol HM 5w30
honda mtf
shell gas
etc.

i believe i have ngk plugs.

anything i could improve on, any ideas...

Personally I think you are good to go.

The trans, if you used the Honda MTF, nothing else is needed.
