Default Adjust the swing of windsheild wipers?

Is there a way to adjust the arc that my windshield wipers make? They are tending to flop on the window edging at bottom part of the arc. If I could I'd like to shorten the arc they make to stop them from hitting the edge of the windshield.

Thanks!

Tim, I don't think the arc can be "shortened" so that the wipers move less degrees, but I do believe you can more or less change your wipers alignment. Remove the nut that holds the wiper arm. Pull the wiper arm off of the splined post, and replace it up a notch or two on the post. But watch that they don't go too far and hit the A-pillar. Hope this helps...

I am curious about this as well. My 2000's wipers have started smacking HARD every time they hit the bottom of the arc. I just keep forgetting about it because it doesn't rain that much in Mississippi right now. If I figure anything out, I'll let you know

Yes, mine hit the bottom hard as well...
I'll try bigdawg's suggestion. Thanks!
