I have a 1990 honda accord ex. When im driving it after about 5 mins it will die and it will start right back up but will die in like 5mins again i am totally lost on what it could be please some one help me A.S.A.P

 

now it is smoking really bad the guy i bought the car off of said he changed the heads ,and yeah I know dont always believe what you hear ,so iff anyone can help me help me soon if you need more info just ask so thank you

 

When engine dies you need to determine whether fuel or spark is missing. Easiest test is to spray a generous amount (5-10 secs) throttle body cleaner in the air inlet at the air filter box and attempt to start. If engine starts, loss of fuel supply is likely (bad main fuel relay or defective fuel pump). If engine refuses to start, loss of spark is likely (bad ignition coil, ignitor, or bad keyswitch assy).
