I own a 05 accord. Im having problems with my headlights dimming for a split second every minuite or so when the ac or defrost is engaged. Dealer sais this is normal. On the second time i had it in for this reason... i noticed that nite that the lights werent as bright at night. Im wondering maybe if dealer put in lower watt bulbs in order of hopes that when the ac or defrost is on that there will more power available in battery so the lights wont dim? Anyways... it didnt work and thats another story.

Since the power issue of the bulbs is irrelevant and i seem to have lost some brightness... im looking for aftermarket lights. Walmart has the silver somethings. What do you guys use? Are they really that brighter? I want clean clear light.. not that bluing tint crap. You know the type.. like going from a regular bulb in your house to a halogen. I want the same in the car but dont want that led blue tint crap. Also... how long do these things last and are they worth it?

 

Pretty much everyone on here would recommend Sylvannias Silverstars. They put out a clean white light too. I went with Sylvanias Cool Blues, the medium between reg. halogens and the Silverstars and I can say the light was better! So I can only imagine what the Silverstars put out. Hope that helped
