Air Conditioner Compressor not receiving power

Air Conditioner Compressor not receiving power
Hi all, new to the forum and have searched and been unable to find a definitive answer.
AC only blows hot air. The system is charged, relays and fuses are fine. According to my mechanic, the AC compressor isn't getting power.
I have done some research and it appears that it COULD be the Climate Control Unit? Before I order a new one and go through the process of installing it, is there anything else it could be?
I am trying to avoid the Dealer if I can.

Describe your Accord in your signature line.
Are you willing to perform some diagnostics?
Check the wire to the compressor for 12V when AC is commanded On. I don't trust 2nd-hand info and there are reaons why it might not run w/ power available.
Does AC switch light come on when pressed to On?
