Hey all, got a 03 Accord coupe, 2.4, auto, 170k. Airbag light comes on when I park and release the seatbelt. If I start the car after I put the seatbelt on, the light stays off, if not the light comes on and stays on till next time.

Anybody encounter this issue?

 

Might be something with the buckle, I think there is a TSB or recall on these????

 

Don't know about a recall, but the dealership may cover it under the lifetime seat belt warranty. I took the cover off the driver's side buckle, sprayed some electrical contact cleaner on it, pulled the little metal spring-like piece out a little, and put it back together. It worked for me.
