I removed the tint from my brother's car with a steamer. The steamer made it quick work.

Slight off topic, but why do folks remove the tint?
My wife's complained of a foggy windshield on our '97, could it be the tint?

I've sprayed down w/ water and applied a black plastic bag over water. Allow sun to warm for 30-40 mins and film will be softened and easy to remove.

good luck

Good to hear.

Check things out over the next few days - fluid level, throttle control cable if the shifts seem "odd".

Sounds like they "care" about their work by the fact they want you to bring it back so they can go over things
