Talking trans check up

I sure hope so , besides I think the dude knows that if it is not right I will open a #10 can of whoop azz just for him. Also I picked up 2 fender to bumper cover retainer inserts with lil screws for $1.00 at the junk yard. The lady at the counter could not believe that is all i needed, as there was a $50 all you could carry sale in progress, and the wife says to me " sure is funny how those clips got put in right away once you started driving it" I just grinned and said yes dear.

My father-in-law told me that ~28 years ago...."Yes dear" goes a long way to resolve many situations.

I left out a few parts in my PM. Once the door panel if off - and that plastic cover. Cycle the window up and down a few times as you watch "things" - your looking for the regulator "rocking or moving" and anything in the run channels moving or binding - ok the binding is hard to see but you get the idea.

If like my 3rd gen's, there are two 10 mm headed bolts holding the glass to the regulator. When down you should be able to see them. You can remove them and slide the glass out - of course be careful. Once out you can then again cycle the motor.

Should give you a good idea where the issue might be.

And if you have OCD about clean glass in a car - well when the window is off and out of the tracks - a real good time to clean it. I'm a fan of sprayway glass cleaner but that is just my opinion.

Talking Carpet, floor mats for 12 bux

Hello my friends, I have been enjoying driving my accord with the new trans for a week or so,,runs good,, so I decided to have it professionally detailed, waxed, buffed,, carpet cleaned,, everything out the door for 150 bux, not bad, i thought. I went to the local pick and pull yesterday for the left front inner fender well, found one in good shape with all the clips for 15 bux, i noticed the carpet was almost perfect as are the floor mats, so on the way out i asked the guy how much for it, he says 12 bux , plus tax, so about 15 bux,,sweet.
i recently purchased a buffer, polisher at a garage sale for 5 bux, went to harber freight and got a new pad for 4 bux, turtle wax car wash soap from the dollar store for 3 bux, mequiars wax from abc auto parts for 18 bux,, i think with some elbow grease and a days work,, my ride will be clean and i will be 100 bux ahead of the game,,wish me luck...i will take some pics for you picture hogs,,lol

Left - Drivers side fan? Might want to put 12v to the motor first to be sure it is not a relay or something else.

thanks for that reminder, it may be the one on the right??? will apply 12v before i get a replacement, all these little things are adding up
But it sure beats a 6 yr payment for a new one
