Alt and power steering belt help needed
I am hearing a squeaking noise coming from my belts but can't seem to fix the problem. I just went out and tried to tighten them both with no success. I really confused about the instructions involving the square. Any suggestions would help.

Is this a 72 Pinto? Or maybe some kind of Accord?
Belts get hard & slippery with age, sometimes you just have to replace them. Over-tightening the old belt can be bad for alternator or PS pump bearings.
