Cansomeonetell mehow to change an alternator and alternator belt on an 91 Honda accord? It is a manual tranny.

first off, make sure that you have the radio code if car has a anti-theft radio.. if not do not worry about it,,
disaconnect battery cable, remove the p/s belt, remove the holding bolts for the p/s pump and move the pump out of the way, disconnect the alt plug + wiring , loosen both alt bolts ( top 14 mm bottom 12 mm ) . in frt of it there is a 10mm bolt. you need to loosen it up but do not remove all the way,, that's the alt/a/c belt adjustment bolt, once belt is out, remove the top and bottom alt bolts and remove the alternator

tools you need are 10, 12, 14 mm wrench, 10, 12, 14 mm sockets, extension, rachet,....... you might not even need to use all the wrenches

Also, you may want to consider replacing the alt. brushes since you are removing the belt anyway...they cost about $35 and could be worn down depending on how much mileage you have on your 91'
