Default Am I missing Something here? 5x110 VS. 5x114.3

2006 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L
I have a question on wheel size, I really am confused and please explain
I know the 2006 accord uses a 5x114.3
I just took my wheel off and put on a Konig 5x110 didnt put the lug nuts on, but the wheel itself mounted fine... am i missing something here?

I know I need a hub centric ring to center the wheel, but why would this wheel fit? someone explain wheel sizing..
Thanks

5 is the number of bolts, so the pattern is a pentagon with 5 sides of equal length and equal distance from the center. The 114.3 or the 110 is the distance in millimeters between the center of the bolt hole. 4.3 mm is not a bid difference, but i would guess that you may only be able to install one or maybe two bolts before the other wheel studs are not centered anymore.

The 5X110 shouldn't fit, does it look like someone drilled the hole out or something ?

I do not have lugs.. so i couldn't center the wheel perfect. It appears the lugs line up thru the holes perfect.
i called Discount Tire online and they are sending the hub centric rings. I guess I will wait and put the rings on and see if the space in the hub fills in. They said they have the rings for my car and that wheel.. weird???

It looks like the 5 x 100 are closer to the center than the 114 would be. I doubt you could get all the lugs on without bending some studs. Did you try putting lug nuts on? Some aftermarket wheels are slotted, so they will fit more than one lug pattern, but these don't look like slotted wheels.

I have the hub centric rings coming this week.. Lugs will be here next week.. before I go get them powder coated I will check and see...
The guy I bought them from said he had them on an Accord.. no problems..
Konig says they will fit.. I just find it really really odd...
noone will give me an answer weather they have tried to put a 5x100 on a 5x114.3 hub to even see if the lugs did align.. so I will give it a shot..

Default How did it go?

So what happened with this?
I have a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L and found rims that are 5x110, will they fit?
