If your wheels are REALLY drilled in a 5 x 100 pattern, they would not fit. You couldn't line up the holes to the studs. Not at all.

I really don't understand that other stuff about being stamped "5x100" for load rating. That isn't a load rating, that's a bolt-circle diameter. Sounds like the manufacturer took the same blank wheel casting (with "5x100" embossed on it) and instead they drilled a 5x114.3 pattern into that wheel. Didn't bother to change the stamping to the actual bolt-circle size.
