Start with the fuses that protect the circuits that you jumped.

You may have damaged ECU or other components.

Using your wiring diagrams trace power to radiator fans and AC compressor. Is power avaialable when AC switch is turned On w/ blower fan in 1-4 positions? Radiator fans should run and heater blower should blow. There should be voltage to the AC compressor.

good luck

i know i didnt damage the ecu, the car starts and runs. the ac switch wont turn on because the entire heater control panel is dead. the radiator fan will not turn on and the blower doesnt work at all. i think i damaged the radiator fan control module, but i'm not 100% on that. is there any way to test that unit?

You should tread this as a new problem, so I would suggest to kind of star over with the electrical tests that are the easiest, then work backwards.

I would test for voltage on the electrical connections for the relays. Two of the pins on each relay should have voltage to ground when the key is in the II position. Check on the radiator fan, condenser fan, and the compressor relay. Let us know what wire colors have voltage and which ones do not.

Since other items have no power, you should test the electrical inputs to the fan control module. Download that shop manual I referenced before to see the inputs.

Once you figure out what wires are missing voltage, or ground, it will be clearer on what the next step is for testing.

You were righ the first time, I burned the fuse under dash. I replaced the relay and the compressor still doesn't turn on. I know both relays are good now cause they both work with the condenser fan. I tested the pressure switch so I know it's good too. What else is there? The fan control relay wouldn't be a culprit at this point right?

Do the HVAC and dash lights work now that you replaced the fuse?

Are you back to the original problem?

yeah i'm back to where i was, but the condenser fan works now because of the new relay. btw, when i was jumping stuff around and testing stuff, i did manage to force the compressor to come on by putting 12v to the compressor power wire and it didnt make any weird noises or anything. it seemed to work fine, but i didnt get a chance to feel the air get cold. should i do that again and feel the air?

So when the engine is running and you turn on the a/c from inside of the car, do both fans on the radiator turn on?

Sorry for all of the questions, I am just trying to figure out the best place for you to start troubleshooting the electrical circuit(s).

Unplug the pressure switch. On the pressure switch, see if the two pins are a closed circuit to each other.

Turn the key in the II position, the a/c turned on switch inside of the car, and the fan turned to 4. On the electrical connector to the pressure switch, check that the red/wht wire has 12V to ground (I use a valve cover bolt). Also check if the blu/yel wire is a closed circuit to ground.
