Hi I have just joined, mainly for selfish reasons like wanting someone to tell me where the oil filter is hidden. (2.4l 4 cyl). I live in Australia and the Honda is actually my wife's car. I just get to fill the fuel tank and keep it running. Oh I get to wash it too.

It would help to provide year/trim of your Accord. However, most have the oil filter on rear side of engine. Access requires lifting the car or a pit access.

2.4 liter would probably be the K-series engine (4-cyl 2003 & newer).

Oil filter is a pain... Stand near the right-front tire & look down between the engine block & the firewall.

On a lift, the easy way is to remove the wheel & reach in alongside the axle.

My method since I don't have a lift...
There's a bracket holding a power-steering hose to the valvecover. Remove the bolt so the hose can flex a bit more out of the way. Reach down from the top to get the filter.
I spilled oil all over the place the first time or 2, before figuring out how to tilt the filter upright as I lift it out.
