Default Anyone else noticed the 8th gen coupe fabric seats are kinda firm?

I'm enjoying my 2011 Coupe EX for the most part - it's really nice to drive, sounds good and I'm not spending too much on gas (not driving heck of a lot now).
If I could change a thing or two on driver's seat, I'd soften up the bolster on bottom sides of seat. I got kinda bony hips, so I feel how dense those are and if you squeeze them you can tell they are quite dense.

I know the power leather seat was more comfortable. Maybe I should have tried for a bargain to get that somewhere close to what I paid. No major, it's still a nice car.

Anyone else noticed the firm bottom sides of driver's seat in 8th gen fabric version?

I don't think the firm seats are anything new. I heard comments from passengers way back in 92 that my Accord's seats were quite firm. I have the leather seats in my 03, and they are firm also. I don't think Honda knows how to make a soft seat (or maybe they choose not too). I like to drive aggressively, especially around corners, so I like the way the seat holds me in place.

I hear ya, I certainly wouldn't want the seat mushed up too much.

I think the bigger improvement would be to have power adjustment in the fabric seat like the sedan EX gets. It can be tough to get just the right seat bottom tilt in mechanical seats. I could use just a skosh more tilt.

The tilt feature, on the 8way power seat is nice, I can vouch for that. It helps if you can get the seat in the perfect position, even if it's not pillow soft.
