Can anyone discuss this issue with me? Is it common? my milage is only about 18 right now just bought the car and I am working all the bugs out.

Rules and that....should be a "sticky" at the top covering a few rules and that. One being, PLEASE add your car info to your signature so it can always been seen...just like now, I have to pause and scoll up to remember what year you have....I have short term memory issues.

Kind of tricky, you just got the car....idle could be a number of things. Start with the regular stuff first....tune up (cap, rotor, plugs, test wires, clean tb, check air filter, ect) , then check motor mounts to be sure one isn't broken.

After that, is this only cold/hot or at anytime? Only when cooling fans or ac is on?

For the shifting. Change, check the trans fluid. Then inspect/adjust the throttle control cable....of course a bad mount could also cause this.

 

Thanks. What is clean TB?Motor mounts good. It gets worse when all components are on including AC. It happens hot and cold. Will a Trans fluid change cause more problems than help? Probably been a while on that one. Thanks for your help

that is your motor mounts man.

more strain on engine + worn motor mounts = more vibration

get them checked at a shop. more so the front and rear mount that hold the most weight.

 

Forgive me, man... so clean TB is my motor mount, sorry I still don't quite get that, is there a way to d=check this without a shop?

 

I believe TEK310 was responding to your post describing the vibrations. Clean TB means clean Throttle Body.
