I've been looking to buy a replacement automatic shift cable for my '92 for a "reasonable" price (instead of around $155 for a new one from some of the online Honda parts outfits). Anyway, the Honda part number is 54315-SM4-505, and there are of course cheaper aftermarket brands also available. But I came across this specific aftermarket brand one at Amazon for only 29 bucks so I thought that would be just great, but in the compatibility chart it indicates it will not fit a 92 Accord, just apparently the 94 and 95. But the picture there sure as heck looks exactly like the shift cable in my 92. I think the compatibility chart may be mistaken and the part in the picture would indeed fit my 92. Comments? Thanks.

 

It looks like the cable for your car is slightly longer than ATP Y-1203. ATP Y758 looks to be the equivalent of the part #54315-SM4-505.
